Baker County Virtual School
Dear Parent or Guardian:
Baker County Schools provide excellent academic challenges every day to meet the needs of all students and support the achievement of learning goals. A full-time virtual instruction program is one of the many options offered to our students. Baker County currently offers full-time virtual instruction K-12 through My District Virtual School, a service of NEFEC.
Virtual instruction provides an alternative to the traditional school and classroom. Virtual instruction requires self-motivated learners that possess good organizational and time management skills. Students must commit to a rigorous learning curriculum, maintain contact with virtual instructors, attend virtual classes, maintain a set pace, and complete all assignments with academic integrity. Students must agree to maintain a minimum of a "C" average and complete all state mandated assessments. Courses are offered at various instructional levels: regular, honors, and advanced placement.
