Public Hearing: District Policies 06.15.2020

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING:

The Baker County District School Board will hold the following public hearing on Monday, June 15, 2020, at the District School Board Meeting Room located at 270 South Boulevard East, Macclenny, Florida, beginning at 3:00 p.m. The following School Board Policies will be considered for approval at the public hearing:

2.091*+          Family and School Partnership for Student Achievement
3.14+              Suicide Prevention
5.025*+          Educational Stability for Children in Foster Care
5.101*             Bullying and Harassment
5.19*+            Student Records
5.24+              Parental Access to Information
5.381*             Homeless Students
6.15*               Educational Paraprofessionals and Aides

The documents will be available for preview Monday through Thursday (8:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.) at the Superintendent’s Office located at 270 South Boulevard East, Macclenny, Florida beginning Wednesday, May 13, 2020. You may also access the documents by clicking on the links above.

This School Board Meeting will be conducted in a virtual environment due to COVID-19 and in accordance with the State of Florida Executive Order 20-69. A link to listen to the livestream audio will be posted on the district website (www.bakerk12.org) on Monday, June 15, 2020. Opportunity for the public to participate in the meeting shall be as follows: Members of the public may address concerns about this public hearing by emailing comments using the citizens input form to the following address: amy.sapp@bakerk12.org. These comments must be limited to 400 words. All emails received two (2) hours prior to the scheduled meeting, with which the email is concerned, will be provided to Board Members. All comments received will be public records.
