From Nurse Julia:
I am very pleased to announce that 103 brand new pairs of shoes have been donated and I have started giving them new homes to some very deserving students. I can not say thank you enough to my district family and our community. #itsbetterinBaker #ShoesforBrayden
Along with Shoes for Brayden, we have several other opportunities for community involvement for our children (and adults) in need. We have a need for shirts, shoes, underwear, socks... jackets and sweaters. If you can donate any of these items, please send them to Nurse Julia's office. The gifts will be wrapped and placed under our tree in the front office awaiting a recipient to benefit.
Also our ROC (Relying on Christ) are also collecting items to share. Their annual "Wrapped in the Warmth of Jesus" They are collecting blankets, sweaters, socks, mittens, hats, scarves, etc. If you could donate to this cause, your generosity will be passed on to those in need.
Again, we thank you profusely for your willingness to help out with your time and money to benefit our community family in need.
Dear Friends of Keller,
Remember this sweet young boy? His life ended tragically just a few years ago. Although very young, he had a very generous heart. We are asking that you, our community help us keep his memory alive by donating new shoes to a child in need. We have so many children who need our help! If you could donate new shoes of any style to Nurse Julia (Brayden's Mom), she will see that a child benefits from your generosity. We are in need of children's sizes 3-5, all the way to men/women's sizes 9. Thank you so much for your generosity in both helping a child in need as well as keeping sweet Brayden's memory alive! #ShoesforBrayden
