Mrs. Kelly Horne
Hello Legacy Family!
My name is Kelly Horne, and I am the principal at Legacy Elementary School. I feel so blessed to work with wonderful students, dedicated staff members, and supportive families and community members. It is an honor to work in the Baker County School District.
I earned my Bachelor's in Elementary Education from the University of North Florida and my Master's Degree from the American College of Education. I have been working in the Baker County School District for 29 years.
Prior to being a school principal, I was a kindergarten teacher, lead teacher on assignment and an assistant principal. I have enjoyed each role that I have had in our school district. It truly is "Better in Baker".
I have lived in Baker County most of my life, starting kindergarten at Westside Elementary School. My husband is Cecil, and we have one son, Ridge. We are all graduates of Baker County High School.
I am looking forward to another successful school year at Legacy!
