How to Enroll Your Child in School
All students must register at their home-zoned school. The school district Attendance Zone Locator will identify the correct school for students in grades 1-5. Important Announcement from Superintendent Milton
For the 2026–2027 school year, kindergarten classes will be returning to our elementary schools.
All kindergarten through fifth grade students will now be housed at either Legacy Elementary, Macclenny Elementary, or Westside Elementary. This has been a long-term goal for our district because there are many benefits to having our K–5 students learning and growing together under one roof.
Please note:
š¾Pre-K classes will remain at the Baker County Pre-K Center.
š¾Pre-K and Kindergarten registration is now open.
š¾Kindergarten registration will still take place at the current Pre-K/Kindergarten Center located at 362 S. Boulevard East.
š¾At registration, you will be notified which elementary school your child is zoned to attend beginning in August 2026.
If you have any questions, please contact the Baker County Pre-K Center at (904) 259-0405.
This is an exciting time for our district, and I look forward to seeing the many positive outcomes this transition will bring for our students and families.
