At Baker County Pre-K / Kindergarten Center our students are immersed in a rich and engaging curriculum that sets the foundation for lifelong learning. Meeting the individual academic and socio-emotional needs of each pre-k and kindergarten student is our focus. Multi-tiered systems of support are provided for students through small group instruction, intervention, and enrichment in order to help students reach their goals and exceed them. Macclenny Elementary School, Westside Elementary School, and Legacy Elementary School serves 1st - 5th grade students. Our teachers and staff members are dedicated to creating a positive and engaging learning environment for all students. Each school has highly qualified teachers and staff that use multi-tiered systems of support for students through small group instruction, intervention, and enrichment in order to help students reach and exceed their goals. Our teachers and families work as partners to help our students reach their full potential. Our elementary schools are committed to building a strong foundation for our students' future success.

Middle School Academics
Baker County School District Is Committed to Excellence in Academics!
At Baker County Middle School, eligible students participate in rigorous curriculum including earning high school credit for Algebra 1, Introduction to Agriculture and Digital Information Technology courses. These courses allow students entering high school to have early entry to several high school career and technical education programs that lead to industry certification and potentially enable students to earn Bright Futures scholarships. All students are scheduled for six class periods per day, which includes their core classes (Math, English, Science, and Social Studies) along with electives such as Art, Band, Physical Education, Computer Science, Agriscience Classes, and Health.

High School Academics
Baker County School District Is Committed to Excellence in Academics!
Students at Baker County High School are immersed in the rigor of a myriad of career exploratory programs including Agriculture, Automotive, Business, Construction, Criminal Justice, Culinary Arts, Cyber Security, Digital Design, Electrocardiogram, Horticulture, Plumbing, Phlebotomy, Certified Nursing Assistant, Teacher Assisting, and T.V. Production. Students are exposed to the workforce through On-the-Job training opportunities on campus (Florida Blue and U.F. Health) and off campus as many of our students are employed with our community businesses. Our nursing students participate in clinical experiences in our local hospitals and nursing homes, giving them a leading edge in their post-secondary pursuit of nursing degrees. Completion of career and technical programs at Baker County High School offers many students the opportunity to earn industry recognized certifications in their area of expertise and enables them to qualify for Bright Futures Cape and Gold Seal Scholarships.Baker County High School also offers Advanced Placement Literature and many Dual Enrollment opportunities on campus and online through articulation agreements with both Florida Gateway College and Florida State College of Jacksonville.
